A Petition to Stop Taxation of the Elk Rapids CinemaThe Chalfonte Foundation has filed an appeal with the Michigan Tax Tribunal to secure a property tax exemption for the Elk Rapids Cinema property. This exemption is critical for the ongoing operation and expansion of our nonprofit charitable programs, which include Village Radio, The HIP Show, PuppetART, student film exhibitions, and more.
