This week’s CineGroove lineup begins at 6 PM with: ✨ A 15-minute vintage short film ✨ Followed by the 1955 one-hour adaptation of The Miracle on 34th Street, featuring Thomas Mitchell and Teresa Wright — a bright and wonderfully condensed retelling of the Christmas classic Then, at 7 PM, our featured film: ⭐ The Little Princess (1939) — Starring Shirley TempleEnjoy the very first Shirley Temple film shot entirely in Technicolor — and her final major success as a child star. Loosely based on Frances Hodgson Burnett’s beloved novel A Little Princess, this 1939 classic is full of heart, humor, memorable musical numbers, and breathtaking period detail. Mondays | 6–9 PM | Always Free & Open to the Public CineGroove transforms the Elk Rapids Cinema into a cozy lounge for film lovers, complete with wine and spirits from Château Chantal, live Village Radio DJ sets, and rotating programs of classic shorts, vintage animation, and feature films. 🎙 Live DJ: Nick Ranger of Village Radio 99.7 LPFM, hosting his International Waters show live from 2nd floor studios. Each evening begins at 6 PM with historic short films and rare animation reels, followed by the feature presentation at 7 PM. |

We are located in downtown Elk Rapids, Michigan at 205 River Street. Home to the largest black light ceiling mural in the world! Our new fall/winter showtimes for first run feature films are Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 1pm, 4pm, and 7pm.
