🐎 November Theme: John Wayne MondaysWe’re celebrating the Duke with an evening of western grit and golden-age charm. Each Monday begins at 6 PM with a rotating lineup of early black-and-white John Wayne films — all under an hour — followed by the feature presentation at 7 PM:

(1963)A Technicolor Western comedy classic starring John Wayne and Maureen O’Hara, McLintock! is a rowdy, good-natured battle of wills loosely based on Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew. CineGroove transforms the Elk Rapids Cinema into a cozy lounge for film lovers, complete with wine and spirits from Château Chantal, live Village Radio DJ sets, and rotating programs of classic shorts, vintage animation, and feature films.

🎙 Live DJ: Nick Ranger of Village Radio 99.7 LPFM, hosting his International Waters show live from 2nd floor studios.

Each evening begins at 6 PM with historic short films and rare animation reels, followed by the feature presentation at 7 PM.

Elk Rapids Cinema in Elk Rapids, Michigan

​We are located in downtown Elk Rapids, Michigan at 205 River Street.  Home to the largest black light ceiling mural in the world!  Our new fall/winter showtimes for first run feature films are Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 1pm, 4pm, and 7pm.

Matinee: (movies before 6:00 P.M.)
